Page 9 of 11 TOFU NUT BALLS 1 cup cooked rice 4 TBS Tamari or Braggs Liquid Aminos 1 cup ground almonds (if you don't have almonds, you could try used bread crumbs instead) 1 LB tofu, mashed 1/2 wheat germ - or you can use bran or oat flour (made by whizzing up Rolled Oats in the blender). Place 1/2 the tofu, 3/4 the rice and the Tamari in blender and blend to think paste. Mash remaining tofu with folk. Add mixture from the blender with all other ingredients. Make into 1 inch balls. Refrigerate for 24 hours, or can be cooked straight away. Bake on lightly greased tray, 30 minutes at 350. Children love these little balls. You can also use them as a substitute meat ball dish and put them in a tomato dish. Just buy your favourite tomato spaghetti sauce (I usually add a few extra flavours).
