Conviction: ‘ the state of being convinced or persuaded, a fixed or strong belief.’

It stirs me greatly when I see leftist, clerical, white-collared church leaders espousing humanistic ideology. They mix the teachings of Christ with the sayings of Buddha, Gandhi, Muhammad and others. They cry peace at any price. There are no boundaries to their compromises.

Communism regarded biblical absolutes as the opium of the people and through its leftist wisdom believed that those who believed in these absolutes must be exterminated or at least severely tortured. The way things are shaping up these days, the left wing so-called peace lovers could very well turn out to be the next persecutors of the true church.

The west is rapidly polarizing into two camps. One is the camp where the ethic is based on the situation. There is no fear of God in this camp. It is this camp where the wimp feels at home. The other camp is where the ethic is based upon the absolutes of the Bible, no matter what the situation. This is the conservative camp – the right wing of conservative thinking.
