Page 1 of 16 SPLIT PEA SOUP Cook up 1 packet of split peas. When nearly cooked to a soft mash, add chopped onions and garlic. Cook 10 minutes and then add any other vegetables you have on hand. Grated carrots, pumpkin, turnip, potatoes or whatever. Chopped parsley, celery, fennel or whatever. Herb it up with salt and pepper and whatever herbs you fancy. Braggs Liquid Aminas adds a good taste too.
