THICK TOMATO SOUP

This is so quick and easy to make. I have often used this on a winter day when I hear that someone is coming unexpectedly for lunch, but I am too busy to spend a lot of time preparing the meal. This is nutritious but takes no time at all. Wonderful for a nursing mother with little children. Put it on in themorning and you then have some nutrtious food waiting for you for lunch.

Cook up 1 packet of split peas or as much as you require. When cooked to a soft mash, add two large tins of tomatoe soup or tomato sauce. That's all lyou need to do! Add extra herbs ande seasoning if you wish. Don't youi like recpes like this? If you have time, you can also chope up some parsley and add for extra nutrition.
