Page 5 of 16 BLACK BEAN AND CORN DISH Cook up 1 packet of black beans. Remember, when you cook beans, you first of all soak them. Soak over night or for at least two hours during the day. Then pour off all the water and add fresh water to just cover the beans and cook unto soft. Saute onions and garlic and chopped tomatoes. Add black beans and corn (preferably fresh off the cob). Spice up with spike, 1 tsp cummin and 2 tsp chili.
